after many days in airports, hotels, and hospitable families homes, i have returned to my own home! i thought i would be sad coming back home, but i was extremely excited. the first thing i did when i got home was take a nap in my own bed. it was such a good nap that i drooled.

my trip was beyond amazing. i'm too tired to post pictures now but i will later, and you will be jealous that i had a better vacation then you :)

it's late and i'm tired...but happy birthday jillian! my little sister is 12...so weird...

america's dairyland

over the past few days i've been in four different states. north carolina, new york, illinois, wisconsin, and who knows how many additional states i flew over. it's nice to be finally be somewhere other than my house. i'm sitting on the couch, waiting for my turn to play wii tennis. it's a good life. i like wisconsin. it's freezing cold(68 in july! oh, the madness..) but it's a nice place to visit and see all the green! i'll be very sad to leave on monday...

i also ate cheese curd while i was here. and you were right, michelle, it's yummy!!

i'm leaving wilmington at about 5:45 tomorrow morning, chicago bound, then wisconsin. i'm beyond excited. considering the things that have happened over the past few days, i'd do anything to get out of wilmington and am psyched that i'll be going to a different time zone for only the second time in my life!

it's a nice day for a white wedding

in approximately six hours i will be getting up and preparing for my sister's wedding. at this very moment, my mom is putting curlers in my hair so i'll have ringlets for wedding pictures. it's all bittersweet to me.

camp was so fun and i'll post pictures when i'm not in a hotel room in washington. i made new friends and all the cute, little first years practically worshiped me and rachael. we had our own fan club of 28 girls. they were adorable and i miss them all already!

i'm excited for jennifer. REALLY excited. i know she is super happy and it makes me happy to see her happy. i'm sure tomorrow will be filled with happy tears and i've never been in a wedding before so that should be another thing to look forward to!

tell me that you're alright

fourth of july was lovely. the most fun i've had on fourth of july ever probably! we beached it up, i worked for a few hours, then went to the fireworks with friends and family. i'd go into more detail but i'm too lazy.

i leave for girl's camp in about an hour and i'm stoked!!! i'll be glad to get away from everyone and everything for a few days and just spend some quality time with my church friends. i'm ready to have fun and meet lots of new people! i leave camp early for jenn's wedding, so not only will my week be full of camp fun, but i'll get to see all my relatives and meet daniel's family.

this will definitely be the best week of my summer :)

p.s. i will not miss you AT ALL while i'm gone. (:

get a voice, don't get a doctor

girls camp is next week and i am BEYOND excited! i'm going to be a youth leader, which means all the little girls will love me; always a plus. i'm ready to see old friends and have lots of fun with new ones.

a few days ago, me and josh went to rock and bowl at the bowling alley..ya know, it should actually be called "rave and bowl". there was drinking and smoking and lights and loud music. i felt extremely uncomfortable and was embarrassed for the girls next to us who were dancing and yelling out of drunkenness. just one of the many reasons why i'll never drink EVER.

i hate work. i stand around, punching numbers and pictures of lettuce on the cash register, cleaning up where 3 year olds have dumped full bags of chips on the floor AND THEN stepped on them, and then when i get off, i smell like ham and mustard. i definitely should get more than minimum wage.

and one last thing, i noticed kevin jonas is engaged. did anyone else think he was gay?
