my sister had a basketball game today and i went just for fun. i got there and within the first two minutes of the game, this obnoxious parent from the other team was screaming and clapping and stomping. so i thought, oh, i can yell louder than this 40 year old woman...so i went and sat next to her. so the game continued and she screamed, then i screamed louder, and she clapped, and i clapped louder (i have burises on my palms from my rings hitting me when i clapped) and she stomped, and i stomped louder. well, the tension was growing as she had hissy-fit after hissy-fit, yelling at the refs and saying the murray girls sucked. i held my breath and tongue as she talked about the skill level of murray but then she and a few other moms started talking about how ugly one of the girls on the team was- and i got downright furious. you can talk about their skill all you want, whatever, but when it gets personal like that, it's just plain rude. so i told mom really loudly about how i didn't appreciate them talking about our team and how rude it was..and i believe obnoxious parent lady heard me. well, a few minutes later there was a foul and one of the murray ladies a few seats down from me yelled "OH MY GO(sh)!!" and obnoxious parent lady turned to me and yelled "YEAH, OH MY GO(sh)" then turned away and muttered a certain expletive under her breath directed towards me. i stared at this woman with a "are you serious?" kinda look and asked mom if she had heard what obnoxious parent lady had said to me. she said no but the lady sitting in front of her had heard her and said "did that woman just cuss at you?" "yes! and i didn't even say anything!!" the mommy then gave obnoxious parent lady the death glare and said "that is so disrespectful and you don't deserve to have someone talk to you like that. I got your back, girl" and proceeded to give o.p.l. another death glare. while that made me feel better, i just couldn't even believe that a 40 year old woman would talk to me like that!! it makes me sad for her kid that her mom acts like that. when the game was over (we ended up losing by 3) all the roland grise moms (the trash pack i like to call them) were smiling and cheering and basically rubbing it in our faces that we had lost but another murray mommy said "i can't believe they're smiling like that. I would be ashamed if i was an adult and acted like that. you may not have won girls but at least you got your class and that's something none of these roland grise parents will ever have". amen.

i hope this post brought you as much humor as it brought me. i mean, really, i find it funny how classless some people are.
